Hey this is Emma D. reporting for Goldilocks, she got sick from beartidleeosis....it's a horrible disease. Hopefully she'll be better in about 3 months. Anyway, these are some of the notes I got from Goldilocks' clipboard. The results of the porridge investigation was I observed, or saw, heard, tasted or smelled that there were three bowls of porridge, and I inferred, or made a logic guess was that they were all different in some way. One of the reasons I thought they were all different because one was steaming, one looks just right and the other was frozen. The independent variable, or what I am changing is temperature of porridge. My dependent variable or what I am measuring, is amount of porridge eaten. I got these levels of IV, the first one was 100 degrees Fahrenheit the second one was 65 degree Fahrenheit and the third one was 0 degrees Fahrenheit. The unit of measurement or what I measured in, and I used ounces. One of the things that has to stay the same or the constant is amount of porridge because if you had one bowl that is huge and one bowl that is itty bitty you would be cheating. Another constant is type of porridge, you would have to have each bowl of porridge the same type of porridge or it would be cheating. The purpose of this experiment is to determine the effect of temperature of porridge on amount of porridge eaten. The End!!!
